I am a GM automotive technician working in London Ontario Canada. While working on today's newest and finest cars, my headphones are ablast with the sweet sounds of linux podcasts. At home I am usually found researching, picking apart software and developing new uses for linux. My essential gear includes (but is not limited to)
- Archos 604 wifi - portable media player (not so hackable at this point)
- Nokia 770 internet tablet. (very hackable)
- Three WRT54GL wireless routers. Two I have used to create a wireless bridge to my teenage son's room to connect his gear. The other is serving up my DSL connection.
- Toshiba u300-ns5 laptop running Ubuntu 8.04 (awsome)
- Two home brewed pc's. One my wife uses and the other is at work. Both running Ubuntu 7.10
- Dreambox FTA sattelite reciever also running linux.
- And a can of catnip to pass the time as I wait for the next linux iso to finish downloading.
